Giller Prize Longlist
It’s the most wonderful time of the year for book lovers - it’s awards season! This week, the Scotiabank Giller Prize presented their longlist for this year’s award.
The award began in 1994 as a way to recognize excellence in Canadian fiction as well as giving a cash endowment to the winning author. Thanks to Scotiabank’s sponsorship, the purse is now at $140,000.
The shortlist will be announced on Wednesday, October 11 and the winner will be announced on Monday, November 13.
