Looking for something to do on the PD Days? Visit the library!
Come and join an interactive song, dance, story and singalong show on Friday, Nov. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Victoria Avenue Library. Joseph Vetro will play the accordion, guitar and tuba while performing engaging stories and songs. Props will be provided to attendees to singalong. This program is for all ages and registration is required.
We will also have our PD Day drop in fun happening at Chippawa Library, Community Centre Library and Victoria Avenue Library on Friday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join us for board games, crafts, obstacle challenges … who knows what we’ll do!
For kids ages nine and older we have two really exciting programs just for you. Join us for our Create Greeting Cards program on Thursday, Nov. 23 at Victoria Avenue Library, a perfect gift for the holiday or come by our Beginner Piano Lessons on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Library. Both programs require registration.
Adults, we have revamped our computer classes just for you! There are still lots of spaces available in our Computer for Beginners: Using the internet course running on Monday, Nov. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at our Victoria Avenue Library. In this session you will learn how to read a website address, practise using web addresses and search for information using a search engine. Registration is required.
Discover the art of yoga and its foundational elements of movement, breathwork and meditation. Certified instructor Andrea Wehlann will introduce the transformative nature of yoga that leads to health and happiness. This program will run Friday, Nov. 24 at 12 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Library. Registration is required.
