Wildlife Documentaries for Earth Day

With Earth Day coming up on Monday, April 22 we wanted to share some of the wildlife documentaries we have in our catalogue. There’s a doc for all ages and interests. The list we put together this year focuses more on the animal kingdom but if you’d rather watch something about flora rather than fauna, there’s something for you too, just ask our staff to give you a hand searching our catalogue!

Earth Day has been officially celebrated since April 22, 1970. In the almost 25 years since the movement began they’ve promoted ways to be environmentally friendly to protect our planet. You can learn more about the history of Earth Day here.

Here’s the full list of wildlife documentaries: nfpl.info/WildlifeDocs. A selection is included below and staff are always happy to help you find something else you may be looking for.

Happy watching!
