The Niagara Falls Anti-Racism Committee, in partnership with the Niagara Falls Public Library, have selected titles for each grade level that feature representations of racial, cultural, religious, ability, sexual and gender diversity
Musical Instruments

NFPL has a large selection of CD Audiobooks which are narrated books on CD - great for commuting or your next road trip!
Playaways
Playaways are preloaded audiobooks that are compact and can be carried anywhere - no internet or downloading required. All you need is 1 AAA battery, headphones and away you go!
Technology
Chromebook Lending
Chromebooks are now available for public use at the Victoria, Community Centre and Chippawa libraries during open hours. More Details
Outdoor Recreation
Outdoor Equipment
The library has several pieces of outdoor equipment available for customers to borrow. At the moment, we have hiking poles, crampons, snowshoes, and binoculars. Each of these items can be checked out for one week with up to two additional one week renewals (barring other holds).
TackleShare
There’s something fishy going on at NFPL! Library customers can borrow fishing rods, reels, tackle boxes, and youth fishing licenses thanks to the TackleShare Program!
Seed To Seed
NFPL is growing! Check out our collection of free seeds, plant your own vegetable garden, then donate seeds back to the library from your harvest.
Parks Permits
The library offers two types of Parks Passes: Ontario Parks Library Day-Use Pass and Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) NaturePlus Pass.
Multilingual and ESL
NFPL offers books, DVDs, and digital resources for adults, teens, and children in multiple languages. Additionally, instructional resources are available for customers learning English as their second language.
Indigenous Collection
In partnership with GoodMinds, NFPL has created a diverse collection of Indigenous material available for loan at all locations.
Newspapers
Niagara Falls Public Library offers newspapers daily and are available to read in-house or digitally. While printed publications vary across our library locations, each branch offers access to the Niagara Falls Review.
